sculpture process pictures

This picture was taken early on in the sculpting process, when many elements had not yet been added. I'd say that getting the overall shape of the face was the easiest part.

This is the finished bust, which I'm somewhat pleased with. I think. it looks somewhat like me, with the eyes being my least proportional element. Overall, I really enjoyed this project and I look forward to working with clay again. My favorite part of the bust Is my hair, while my favorite part of the sculpture is the plaster pillow the bust stands atop.
